What is WordCamp Rochester?

WordCamps year’s in many cities around the world.  They are sponsored events run by local interest groups, and that helps keep the costs of attending very low, but there are limited spaces available.   

WordCamps are casual, locally-organized conferences covering everything related to WordPress, the free and open source personal publishing software that powers over 75 million sites on the web.

WordCamp Central

This is the third time a WordCamp has been held in Rochester and it is almost guaranteed to sell out.   There will be 7 presentation sessions – some are geared to WordPress experts, but many of this year’s sessions are aimed at making websites work better for small businesses and organizations.  

There will be plenty of opportunity for networking and getting information from the attendees and experts at the Happiness Bar.   If you have questions about small business websites this is a great bargainyear’s
